Four gold medals went to Stortford paddlers at the Leaside Marathon, with wins for Paul & Richard, Ella and Murdo. The total points scored by the team brought Stortford a third place overall.

| This was the final event of the series, so also included the presentation of the trophies for performance across all six races of the series. Danny Beazley, not paddling on this occasion in order to act as race organiser, had already clocked up five wins in the previous Men's Vet K1, so was easily the winner of this class. Other series trophies were won for Stortford by: K1 M u14, 2nd place - Murdo White K1 F u14, 2nd place - Yazmin Layzell Marathon C2, 1st place - Malcolm Duckworth & Gary Aldam GP F, 2nd place - Deborah Cayford The full list of series placings for each class can be downloaded from the FRA website. BSCC took third place overall in the series, second place in Dick Grieve points for performance by unranked juniors, and was awarded the Bob Porter Trophy for the highest turnout of under 12s.
