| Due to the snow storms in March, the regatta at Chelmsford was moved to September, following close on the heels of the Stortford Regatta. The Stortford Regatta saw a good turnout from the home team as well as visitors from five other clubs.  As always, the members and their families provided a good spread of cakes which, together with the BBQ, brought in some very welcome funds. |   |

Unfortunately, the good weather enjoyed at Stortford did not continue, and only two weeks later, wind and rain severely disrupted the Chelmsford event. Despite the weather conditions, 11 Stortford paddlers made the trip and gave their all.
